The concept of RINGS came to me when I aimed for a design that gives the sensation of components within the watch floating, especially the rings on the dial, where the hands intersect without touching. In fact, the minute hand hovers above and wraps around the hour hand.
This design follows the traditional shape of a conventional watch; however, the shapes and textures, both in the case and in the components, aim to offer a more artistic view, making its primary allure the interaction of light with the entire piece.

Final design.
The final design plays with textures and colors, aiming to always provide high contrast. The color of the rings intends to resemble a multi-layered paint effect with various shades of red, while using purple Super-Luminova for the hands orbiting within the rings.
The back of the watch aims to be understated yet mirroring the shapes of the front of the piece, employing rose gold in different finishes. Additionally, the slanted crown contributes to the sense of movement, giving the impression that the entire watch is somehow rotating on its own axis.
